They also do an excellent job marketing. Bob, the CEO, is a fixture on the television, on the radio, and in the community. He is always serving his audience, and a few years ago they asked me to help them with that.
If you living in Florida, you need to know the best way to go through a hurricane. To help their community with this, Bob wanted to create a “Hurricane Preparedness Guide” to help members prepare for and endure these monstrous and deadly storms.
The first 8.5x11 bifold we designed for them was such a hit, they reordered it several times. It made them even more of an authority in their field, and they had people asking for this one piece of material. But this year they wanted something a little different.
They wanted the same brochure redesigned so it was “pocket-sized” and easier to keep track of and carry around. So we designed a 5.5"x8.5" booklet. It has the same information, but with a few more pages of helpful information added.
Not only has the brochure been resized, this new version includes county resources and numbers you may need in emergency. It also includes how to install and take care of your hurricane shutters. And also — like any good marketing material — it explains what O'Donnell products can protect you.
