Make Your Business Unforgettable

For Florida contractors and local professionals who compete on reputation, not just price

I help you create print branding that builds trust, wins referrals, and makes you the obvious choice in your market.

Inkling Creative submark

WHO THIS IS FOR

Is Inkling Creative Right for You?

I work with Florida contractors and local professionals who:

  • Build their business through relationships and referrals — You're not buying clicks; you're earning trust one client at a time
  • Need to look like the premium choice — Your work is top-quality, but your marketing materials don't show it
  • Understand that what clients hold matters — When someone takes your business card, proposal, or brochure, it needs to reflect who you are
  • Want to be remembered long after the meeting — In markets where people choose based on trust, being forgettable means being overlooked

My clients include:

Contractors: HVAC, roofing, windows and doors, construction, specialty trades — businesses where quality work deserves quality branding

Local Professionals: Financial advisors, insurance agents, attorneys, consultants — trusted advisors who need to look the part

Established businesses: You've been around 5+ years, you have steady clients, and you're ready to invest in being the go-to name in your market

If that's you, keep reading.

WHY PRINT BRANDING MATTERS FOR YOUR BUSINESS

You Already Know This (But It's Worth Saying Out Loud)

When a homeowner is choosing between three contractors, or a client is deciding which financial advisor to trust, what they can hold in their hands influences the decision.

Here's what the research shows:

  • Print materials have 70% better recall than digital content
  • 93% of people say visual appearance is the #1 factor in buying decisions
  • Companies that invest in design outperform competitors by 200%

But here's what I know from experience: design only works if people remember it.

After surviving a traumatic brain injury, I had to relearn how memory works. And I discovered three principles that changed everything—not just for me, but for the businesses I serve:

THE THREE MEMORY PRINCIPLES

How I Help You Become Unforgettable

We Remember What Is Clear

Your message can't be complicated. If someone can't understand what you do in 10 seconds, they'll move on.

I create clean, simple designs that make your value obvious—no jargon, no clutter, no confusion. Just clear communication that respects how brains actually process information.

This means: Brochures that explain your services instantly. Business cards that state exactly what you do. Proposals that look professional and are easy to scan.

We Remember What Repeats

Your brand needs to look the same everywhere—business cards, proposals, vehicle wraps, uniforms, brochures, everything.

Consistency creates patterns, and patterns create memory. This isn't preference; it's neuroscience.

I build consistent visual systems that make you recognizable at a glance. Same colors, same fonts, same professionalism across every touchpoint.

This means: When someone sees your truck, your business card, or your proposal, they instantly recognize it as YOU. No wondering if it's the same company. Just instant recall.

We Remember What Makes an Impact

Digital content scrolls away. Physical materials stay.

When a client holds your proposal, your brochure, or your business card, they remember you longer. The quality of the paper reflects the quality of your company.

I specialize in print materials that feel substantial—the kind people keep on their desk, show to their spouse, or pass to a friend who needs your services.

This means: Your marketing materials don't end up in the trash. They stay in view, stay in mind, and generate referrals.

WHAT I CREATE

Print Branding That Works in the Real World

Brand Identity & Visual Systems

What you get: Logo design (or refinement), color palette, font system, brand guidelines—everything you need to look consistent and professional across all your marketing.

Why it matters: Your brand is the visual shorthand for your reputation. When it's clear, consistent, and professional, people trust you faster.

Best for: Contractors and professionals who are tired of looking "homemade" or inconsistent across different materials.

Real example: When O'Donnell Storm Protection needed to position themselves as the authority on hurricane preparedness in Florida, we created a brand system that showed up the same way on their trucks, their pocket-sized guide, their proposals, and their uniforms. Now they're impossible to miss—and impossible to forget.

Marketing Materials That Sell When You're Not There

What you get: Brochures, service guides, capabilities booklets, leave-behinds, direct mail pieces—print materials that explain what you do and why you're the right choice.

Why it matters: Most contractors and professionals don't have time for long sales pitches. Your materials need to do the talking. And when they're well-designed and clear, they do it better than you could.

Best for: Businesses that need to leave something behind after a meeting, send proposals that stand out, or mail to prospects in their service area.

Real example: We created a pocket-sized hurricane preparedness guide for O'Donnell that homeowners actually requested by name. It positioned them as the local expert, provided genuine value, and generated referrals—all from a single print piece.

Business Cards, Stationery & Everyday Essentials

What you get: Business cards that people actually keep, letterhead for proposals and invoices, thank-you cards, branded envelopes—the foundational materials every business needs.

Why it matters: You hand out your business card dozens (maybe hundreds) of times a year. If it's flimsy, generic, or confusing, that's what people remember about you. If it's substantial, clear, and professional, that's what they remember.

Best for: Anyone who meets clients in person, sends proposals, or wants to make a strong first (and lasting) impression.

Real example: When a financial advisor's business card feels as solid as their advice, clients take them seriously. When a contractor's card is printed on thick stock with a clean design, homeowners think "these people care about quality."

Packaging & Promotional Materials

What you get: Custom packaging, branded merchandise, event materials, signage—anything that puts your brand in the physical world.

Why it matters: When clients receive something with your branding on it—a gift, a sample, a thank-you package—they remember you. And when it's done well, they show it to others.

Best for: Businesses that want to create memorable client experiences, stand out at events, or give branded gifts that actually get used.

Real example: A local honey company needed packaging that reflected the quality of their product. We designed labels that made their jars giftable, memorable, and distinctly theirs—so customers knew exactly what they were getting and where it came from.

WHY WORK WITH ME?

What Makes Inkling Creative Different

There are a lot of designers out there. Here's why contractors and local professionals choose me:

I understand your market

I work with Florida businesses that compete locally, build through relationships, and need to be remembered — not just visible. I get how your clients make decisions, what builds trust in your industry, and what materials actually get used (versus thrown away).

I survived a traumatic brain injury and learned how memory works

This isn't just a backstory — it's why I'm good at what I do. After relearning how to remember, I understand what makes businesses stick in people's minds. And I apply that knowledge to every project.

I don't do templates or trends

Your business isn't like everyone else's. Your branding shouldn't be either. I design for YOU — your market, your clients, your reputation.

I care about print quality

The paper you use, the finish you choose, the weight of your business cards — all of it matters. I help you make decisions that reflect the quality of your business, not just what's cheapest.

You won't be forgotten

I return emails. I meet deadlines. I listen to what you need. No one should feel like they aren't being heard—and that includes you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you work with businesses outside of Florida?

Most of my clients are in Florida, but I've worked with businesses across the country. If you're outside Florida and the work I do resonates with you, let's talk.

How much does branding cost?

Full branding projects typically start around [price range]. Design Days are [price per day]. Every project is different, so the best way to get an accurate quote is to book a strategy call and we'll talk specifics.

How long does a project take?

Branding projects typically take 4-8 weeks from start to finish. Design Days are scheduled within 2-4 weeks and completed in 1-2 days. Rush timelines are sometimes available—just ask.

Do you do websites?

I specialize in print design, not web design. But if you need a website, I can recommend great web designers who understand branding and can implement your visual system online.

What if I already have a logo but need marketing materials?

Perfect. That's what Design Days are for. We'll use your existing brand and create whatever materials you need—brochures, business cards, proposals, signage, you name it.

Do you print the materials or just design them?

I design everything and coordinate printing through trusted local and national print partners. You'll get print-ready files and professional printing—all handled for you.

What if I'm not sure what I need?

That's what the strategy call is for. We'll talk through your business, your goals, and your current marketing, and I'll recommend what would make the biggest impact.
