I graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2015 with a degree in graphic design. Shortly after this, I was offered a temporary position at Aurora Diagnostics in Palm Beach Gardens. Aurora Diagnostics is “a leading independent pathology services and cancer diagnostics company” (a health diagnostics company).

As temporary graphic designer, I was under the lead print designer and was assigned various projects. At the time, Aurora had thirteen laboratories. One of them, Pinkus Dermatopathology Laboratory, had an event at a tradeshow and needed a pamphlet designed. The event was promoting skin care and melanoma awareness and was called “Beauty at Any Age.” I used what I had learned in school about publication design. As such, I used Indesign for this pamphlet and cover.
